Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. She made her debut in the year 2001. She was a part of a small part on the show Home and Away. Her role was selected to play the main character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away because her performance in this small role was so compelling that the casting agents requested her to play various parts. While she tried to play the part, she wasn't chosen. She was instead cast on the show as Cassie Turner, a young troubled girl who lives in foster care.
