Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was students of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully in between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned an impact as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural and The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
